Ture-Cobas is a non-governmental group located within
the communities of the Biological Corridor Alexander Skutch. With the areas rich abundance of natural resources, Ture-Cobas’s aim is to support various eco-friendly tourism projects to create the funds which can support models of sustainable production and ensure the health of the corridor and the survival of its species.  We also focus on stimulating local participation and local knowledge of important issues so to improve not only the environmental quality of the Corridor but the quality of economic and social life as well.


Ture Cobas’s
focus on Sustainable and Eco-tourism offers adventurous and educational activities based on resources of the Biological Corridor Alexander Skutch which include;

•         Natural hot water springs
•         Los Cusingos Neotropical farm and  bird sanctuary
•         Agroturismo

•         National Park
•         Swimming pools

•         Horse rides
•         Scenic lookouts and various trails with the option to pitch a tent and camp
•         Archeological sites  (hieroglyphics)
•         Pinas Blancas River with areas to swim
•         House and Museum of the Famous Scientist Don Alexander Skutch
•         Las Nubes center for neo-tropical conservation and research.
•         Tours of organic coffee farms and sugar  processing factories.
•         Traditional Costa Rican cuisine
•         A wide number of bird and animal species as well as tropical wildlife.
•         Various cabins in the rain forest as well as options to stay with a local family
